The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) offers an impressive array of accredited academic programs blending a time-honored curriculum with

UMES was founded in September 1886 by the Methodist Episcopal Church as a prep school and has evolved into a vibrant public research university with 200 full-time faculty members and nearly 4,300 students from three dozen nations.
