Former Regional Partner
Elm Street Development

John has spent over three decades at Elm Street Development designing and creating high quality living environments in Montgomery County and suburban Maryland. John has combined the vision needed to create quality residential communities with mission-driven non-profit organizations by serving on the board of an affordable housing developer. MHP. This participation reinforced the importance of wrap-around services, particularly educational support, in helping people move up the economic ladder and bring about change in their communities.

Most recently, this passion for educational opportunity led John to an advanced degree at Georgetown, where John focused on opportunities for transformational change in higher education centered around equity, access, and affordability. John currently works part-time at Georgetown's Red House, an academic innovation unit, to advance these priorities.
John has a B.S. from the University of Illinois, a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a M.A. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Georgetown University.
