Audrey Awesome Group & Noble Uprising

Audrey Awasom, or Audrey Awesome as many affectionately call her, is an anti-poverty advocate who is passionate about cultivating the next generation of leaders. As a student at the University of Maryland, College Park, she founded Noble Uprising, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves, educates, and empowers women experiencing poverty. Audrey also leads the Audrey Awesome Group which houses initiatives like the Young Leaders Program, a highly interactive program designed to cultivate NextGen female leaders and entrepreneurs and Luminary, a stationery brand launching in Fall 2023. Through her work at WBENC, she has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies such as Allstate, GSK, Marriott International, Verizon, and Walmart to create premier programs like the Women of Color Incubator which has supported 148 emerging female entrepreneurs at HBCUs with mentorship, training, and capital needed to refine, validate, and launch their businesses. To recognize her efforts, Audrey has been featured on many platforms including DC Inno’s 2020 list of 25 under 25 leaders and was awarded the Do Good Award by the Maryland Awards and the Alumni Excellence Rising Terp Award by the UMD Alumni Association.
