Program Overview

The University of Baltimore offers a B.S. in Simulation and Game Design at the Universities at Shady Grove on weekdays during daytime hours. You'll study basic game concepts and design, the fundamentals of computer programming, 3-D modeling and animation, usability design, the application of simulation to education and other nonentertainment fields and the design of multiplayer games. Through dual capstone seminars, you'll work closely with professionals to test and build games and simulations, and you'll graduate with a portfolio of projects to showcase your skills.

WHY STUDY SIMULATION AND GAME DESIGN?

The state of Maryland boasts the largest concentration of computer game developers outside of California, with more than 100 game-development companies and agencies in the Baltimore-Washington area.

TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID

Students enrolled in this program are charged the same tuition as those attending the University of Baltimore, but may have differing fees based on home campus. Financial aid is available to students and is administered through UB. A limited number of scholarships is available.
