2006 USGSA Kickball Tournament
USGSA would like to thank everyone who came out to play
in yesterday's First Annual Kick Ball Tournament. With eight
teams and more than 60 students, staff and faculty members
in attendance, it was a full day of fun in the spring sun and
mud.
Congratulations to Team "Elite 8" who managed to
outscore team "Teenage Mutant Ninja Terps" in the
last innings of the championship playoffs to secure First Place.
Honorable mention is awarded to Team Rome's Raiders who placed
third, losing by only 1 run to the Ninja Terps.
Special thanks to our volunteer referees UMBC students Meghan
Pennington and Peter Duvall, who did an excellent job of calling
the day's games.
We hope you all enjoyed yourself, and we look forward to
seeing you again next year!
