Student Council Committees
Student Advocacy
Purpose: To obtain student feedback and advocate on behalf of the student population at USG. Identify and articulate student issues and concerns. Engage in activities which support and enhance the student experience at USG including services, activities and facilities. Subcommittees include student lounge and scholarship.
Marketing
Purpose: To market the Student Council including its organizational mission, role, membership opportunities, services and activities.
Finance
Purpose: To provide oversight and guidance regarding Student Council's financial activities such as the organization's budget, expenditures and fundraising.
Community Building/Recognition & Appreciation
Purpose: To identify and engage in activities which support the USG community including faculty, staff, students and alumni. To enhance communication and collaboration among all groups. To engage in activities which provide recognition and appreciation for community members. Subcommittees include Student Discount Card and Appreciation.
