Child Care Services
USG provides referrals to students who need child care to Montgomery College's nearby child care services (located at its Germantown, Rockville and Takoma Park campuses). Participating students may enroll their children for full- or half-day programs and are given a reduced "student rate" for this service. Lactation Facilities
For the convenience of mothers with young children, USG provides a private Lactation Room in which mothers may nurse or utilize pumping equipment as needed. This room is available free of charge during any of USG's Office of Student and Academic Services (SAS) regular business hours. The room is located within our SAS suite, on the first floor of Building III.
The room may be used on a walk in basis as available or reserved by contacting SAS staff member, Ilona Faulks at 301-738-6077, ifaulks@umd.edu or by visiting our office. USG's extends a warm congratulations to all new mothers!
