B.S. in Nursing
RN completion option
The undergraduate nursing program is an upper division professional program providing full- and part-time study of professional nursing. The undergraduate program offers two tracks, a basic baccalaureate and a registered nurse baccalaureate completion track.
- The basic track offers a traditional two-year course of study.
- The registered nurse track includes the RN to BSN, which can be completed in one year of full-time study (part-time option also available for RN to BSN students).
- An RN to M.S. option is also available to qualified students.
General Requirements
General requirements for all students include completion of 59 pre-professional credits in the social and behavioral sciences, natural and physical sciences, and arts and humanities for transfer into the baccalaureate program. A personal goals statement is also required. All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency. Academic transcript evaluations by a recognized international credit evaluation service are required for all course work completed outside the United States.
Please note: Students are strongly encouraged to attend an information session to ensure a smooth transition and understanding of prerequisite courses for the upper division nursing program.
Because this is a competitive program, specific admission requirements of an overall 3.0 GPA and a 3.0 science prerequisite GPA are required. Early application is advised.
