- By submitting their request through ELMS/Canvas, faculty will be able to track the status of their request and receive e-mail notices when new reserve items become available.
When to Submit a Course Reserves Request
Please submit course reserves requests and a copy of the syllabi to the library at least two weeks before classes begin. Submit requests through the online reserves request form and email syllabi to email@example.com.
Your request will be processed in the order in which it is received. The heavy demand at the beginning of the semester and the availability of materials may delay the processing of your request.
Common reasons for delays are the need to order materials not owned, which can take months, and retrieving materials that are already on loan to patrons.
