Board of Advisors

Wood Law Offices, LLC

Founder and principal of Wood Law Offices, LLC joined the Board of Advisors in 2006. He serves on the Scholarship and Development Committee and is committed to helping USG create more programs to assist students that need financial assistance to attend college. He believes that USG will continue to grow as different USM schools expand the number of programs offered to students and as such, USG will achieve even greater recognition in the region as its student population grows.

He is a former University System of Maryland Regent, a former criminal prosecutor, and past president of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. A trial attorney for more than 30 years, he frequently lectures about different aspects of litigation. He has appeared on MSNBC and on local television news programs to provide expert commentary on current legal cases.
