Mr. Thomas D. Murphy
President of EagleBank of Montgomery County, possesses more than 35 years of banking experience. A native of Montgomery County, he has been active in civic and business organizations and is a past president of the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce.
He joined the Board of Advisors in 2006 and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Scholarship and Development Committee. As a businessperson, he appreciates the importance of public universities offering educational programs for students who live and work in the region.
In addition to serving on the Board of Advisors, Murphy is a member of the Coalition to Build the Purple Line and a Director of the Bethesda Urban Partnership. He recently was appointed Chair of the Executive Council for the Business Partners at Strathmore
The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County recognized him this year for his business leadership in supporting the arts and humanities in Montgomery County. |
