Dr. Bridgett Price
Marriott International, Inc.
Bridgett Price is Senior Vice President-Human Resources for Lodging Sales and Marketing & Brand Management, and Talent Development and Learning. She is responsible for developing and implementing various HR strategies and programs to attract, develop, motivate and retain a world-class team.
She also has responsibility for enterprise-wide learning capabilities across Marriott International, including Executive Development and Connect U (the corporate university campus). In addition, Bridgett plays a key role on the Lodging Sales & Marketing senior management team in ensuring that the organization is aligned and staffed effectively around the key business priorities.
Bridgett joined Marriott in 2000 as Vice President, Leadership Development, and was responsible for the MBA Summer Internship Program and the MBA Leadership Development Program. In August 2000, she was promoted to VP, Human Resource for Sales and Marketing.
Her role expanded in March 2003 to include responsibilities for Brand Management and Operations Planning & Support. In July 2006, she assumed responsibility for Talent Development & the Learning Organization.
Bridgett came to Marriott from Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. During her six years there, she managed various corporate human resources functions, including staffing and development, diversity, compliance and the human resources function in the sales division. Prior to her work at Anheuser-Busch, she was a major in the Air Force and taught psychology and leadership courses at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Co.
Bridgett received her Ph.D. from Arizona State University in educational leadership and policy studies. She holds a B.A. from California State University and an M.S. in education from the University of Southern California.
Bridgett is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Champion for the Alzheimer's Association and a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. |
