UMCP Financial Information
Billing
Upon enrolling for courses, UMCP students will be sent a bill providing an itemized account of monies due for that semester. Students should forward payment in the form of check, money order or credit card (we accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover) made payable to the University of Maryland.
Payments may be forwarded in person to the Student Services Office, placed in the "Payment Drop Box" located outside the Student Services Office or by mail to:

Payments may also be forwarded in person or mailed to UMCP. If paying in person, students should take their bill and payment to UMCP's Cashier's Office, Room 1115 of the Lee Building. Students may also send payment directly to UMCP by returning their payment stub and payment in the envelope provided.

- Out-of-State: $18,888 ($9,444 per semester)
- Shady Grove Auxiliary Fee: $435 ($217.50 per semester)
- Facilities Fee: $141 ($70.50 per semester)
- Technology Fee: 12+ credits: $84 ($42 per semester)
Tuition Rate for Part-Time Undergraduate Students per Credit Hour:
- In-State: $273.00 (per credit hour/per semester)
- Out-of-State: $787.00 (per credit hour/per semester)
- Shady Grove Auxiliary Fee: $18.50 per Credit Hour
- Facilities Fee: $70 ($35 per semester)
- Technology Fee: 1-8 credits: $42 ($21 per semester); 9-11 credits: $ 84 ($42 per semester)
