USM Regent and former USG Board of Advisors member Cliff Kendall and his wife Camille have generously established three annual awards that recognize faculty, program directors and staff who have performed exceptionally in supporting student success at USG.
To support the Kendall's generosity and their recognition of the impact faculty and staff have on supporting students here at USG, the Board of Advisors established the Kendall Awards:
- Excellence in Teaching,
- Program Director of the Year, and
- Outstanding Service to Students
Each award recipient will receive a substantial cash award. The names and pictures of award recipients are prominently displayed in the Priddy Library and are formally recognized at a campus-wide event.
Nomination Period: Now through March 6, 2015
Excellence in Teaching Award
Eligibility: Faculty members who have taught at USG for at least one academic year.
Outstanding Service to Students Award
Eligibility: USG staff members, faculty, and program directors with at least two years of service at USG.
Program Director of the Year
Eligibility: Program Directors who have served the students at USG for at least two years.
