Global Warming: Make it Hotter!

Competition is in the air... Spring Training is starting.... March Madness is on the way... And now... USG needs to get ready to compete!

Instead of doing our own USG Poster contest, we are going to go head to head with other college students in the county. The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection is sponsoring a graphic design competition, called, Global Warming: Make it Hotter! This competition is open to all college students in Montgomery County (those attending Montgomery College as well as those who are registered in any of the Maryland State institutions). Three winners will be chosen. The top winning design will win a $300 gift certificate to B&H Photo and Video or Amazon.com. Two runner-up designs will win $100 gift certificates each. The winning entries may be displayed at public libraries, on websites, or in other county facilities.

Remember, USG is the LARGEST green institution of higher education in the county! You know about being energy-efficient... about planting trees... about reducing your global footprint! You live it each day when you are here at USG. You must submit your design by April 22. We can win this! Don't delay - sign up today!
