  • Bowie State University offers an array of scholarships – each with its own set criteria for consideration. Please note that all students must complete the  FAFSA to be considered for any type of financial aid.

Salisbury University

  • Univerisity of Baltimore offers two categories of scholarships: merit and need. The first type is awarded entirely on the basis of merit, the other on financial need as well as merit. Private scholarships are also available from other sources.

There are many ways to search for available scholarships. Below are just a few options:

University of Maryland Eastern Shore

  • The key to applying for a variety of scholarships is to apply early! You should begin to inquire about scholarship applications for a fall semester (September) as early as January-March.
  • For many scholarships, funds are limited and may only be awarded on a first-come/first-served basis.
  • If you are beginning in the Spring semester, scholarship opportunities will be very limited as most scholarships are awarded for a full academic year.

University of Maryland Global Campus

  • University of Maryland Global Campus offers a variety of scholarship opportunities. Through our donor scholarship process, you may be able to earn one or more of our 100+ scholarships. 
  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA, is required for most scholarships offered by UMGC. Make sure you complete the FAFSA early.
