Summary
Education Buildings I and II consist of:
- 29 general classrooms,
- seven executive classrooms,
- four computer laboratories/classrooms,
- two nursing laboratories,
- two interactive video networks (IVN) rooms,
- a 300-seat auditorium,
- a Library and Media Center Services,
- a telecommunications center,
- two biotechnology teaching laboratories,
- a 9,000 sq. ft. multipurpose room,
- a kitchen,
- 30 administrative offices
- and 850 parking spaces.

USG is open as follows (does not include
holiday closures): Please note that the schedules are for two
different buildings.

When the buildings are closed, a perimeter security system is armed. A security post is manned in every building after office hours.
Campus Recreation Center (CRC)
The Campus Recreation Center provides students, staff and faculty at the Universities at Shady Grove everything needed to maintain a healthy and fun lifestyle at an affordable price. A variety of state of the art equipment along with an assortment of aerobic/cardio classes makes the CRC a great place to give users a complete workout.

Copy Center

Green Grove Café

Lounge Areas
Lounges with vending machines and microwaves are located on the second floor of both buildings.
Parking
USG has three parking lots. Parking is restricted to these designated sites, but permits are not required. Please do not park along the street.
Security
Contracted guard service is provided during the evening hours and building closings. In addition to unlocking classrooms, guards are available to escort students and faculty to their vehicles or to assist with security problems. A closed circuit security system with limited access is also utilized at USG. The guard is available in SG II, first floor lobby, or by phone at 202.528.5656 (Cell) or 301.738-6065 (SG II Lobby).
