Position Title:	Tutor

Hourly Wage or Salary:	$8 - 10 per hour, depending on education and experience NOTE: Pay includes one hour of preparation per week plus face-to-face and online meeting times
Approximate Number of Hours Required to Work Per Week:	3 - 10 hours per week
Days and Hours Student Needed to Work:	Times subject to tutor and tutees' schedules
Job Description:	Schedule meetings with tutees Meet at least once a week (or more often) Respond to online questions and comments Go over difficult concepts Help with test preparation
Qualifications:	Current student in USM system B or better in course(s) to be tutoring 3.0 cumulative GPA (copy of unofficial transcript required) Good communication skills 2 recommendations (one from faculty in course to be tutored)
Learning Opportunities / Opportunities for Professional Development	Paid training session in group facilitation, class management Assistance with lesson plans for sessions Contact with professor for course being tutored
