Days and Hours Student Needed to Work:

Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, flexible schedules

Job Description:

Desktop Support technician assists in troubleshooting, installing software, and setting up hardware according to CARB IT model. Will receive and respond to support requests via email or phone. Will work on large scale IT projects under supervision.

Qualifications:

Strong familiarity with an MS Windows OS. Strong knowledge of basic applications (Office, browsers, email, etc). Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to work well with people and help them with their problems. Excellent knowledge of Intel based hardware and basic networking hardware. A strong desire to learn more for experience/you love IT stuff.

Macintosh OS experience a plus, Linux/UNIX experience a plus. Experience with the following will be considered a plus: .NET programming, Perl/Shell scripting
